Some 17,188 real estate deals concluded in Armenia in July 2022
YEREVAN, September 8. /ARKA/. Some 17,188 real estate deals were concluded in Armenia in July 2022, down from 19,130 deals, concluded in June, according to the National Statistical Committee (NSC).
Most of the deals – 5,261 (30.6% of the total) - were concluded in the capital city Yerevan, while the least number were concluded in Vayots Dzor province- 295 (1.7%).
Some 3,051 real estate deals were concluded in Kotayk province, 1,350 deals in Ararat, 1,467 deals in Armavir province, 800 deals in Gegharkunik, 1,466 deals in Aragatsotn, 1,219 in Lori, 901 deals in Shirak, 771 deals were concluded in Tavush and 607 deals in Syunik provinces.
Some 6,656 deals were property alienations (38.7% of the total), including 4,412 purchase and sale deals, 2,076 deals were donations, 26 deals were property exchanges.
Another 3, 213 deals were property inheritance, 2,791 deals were primary registration of property, 1,966 deals were concluded as collateral, 1,402 deals were property re-registration, 908 deals were home rent and 252 deals were property legalization.
In July 2022 foreign citizens concluded 175 property purchase deals -113 deals were made by citizens of Russia, 19 - by citizens of USA, 17 - by citizens of European states, 14 - by citizens of Iran, 11 deals were made by citizens of other states.
At the same time, during the reporting month foreign nationals in Armenia concluded 249 real estate selling deals -181 deals were made by citizens of Russia, 28 - by citizens of USA, 15 - by citizens of European states, 12 - by citizens of CIS countries, 9 - by citizens of Iran, and 4 deals were made by citizens of other countries. -90-
